
Yi Xiong serves as Executive President of Shenzhen Luohu People’s Hospital and Director of the Ultrasound Center of Luohu Hospital Group. He is a recipient of the Shenzhen Municipal Special Government Allowance and recognized as a Local Leading Talent.

Dr. Xiong possesses profound theoretical attainments and extensive practical experience in ultrasonic diagnosis, with comprehensive expertise in ultrasonographic examination of systemic organs. He is particularly accomplished in the diagnosis of fetal cardiac malformations, prenatal ultrasound screening, as well as pediatric and adult cardiac ultrasonography, enjoying a high professional reputation nationwide and across Guangdong Province. He currently undertakes expert consultation for complex and difficult cases of fetal structural and cardiac malformations at the national and provincial levels. He has received advanced training in ultrasound research at Harvard Medical School in the United States and further professional studies in the United Kingdom and other countries. He holds internationally recognized certifications including first-, second- and third-trimester obstetric ultrasound qualification and fetal echocardiography diagnostic qualification issued by the Fetal Medicine Foundation (UK). He also possesses the Obstetric Ultrasound Physician Certification awarded by the Chinese Fetal Medicine Foundation and the Prenatal Ultrasound Diagnostic Physician Qualification of Guangdong Province.
Dr. Xiong has published more than 50 papers in core academic journals and over 10 SCI-indexed articles. He has been awarded the Third Prize of Provincial Scientific and Technological Progress. In 2021, he won the National First Prize at the 4th "Blooming Cup" 5G Application Competition. In 2022, he was awarded the Silver Prize in the Benchmark Competition of the 5th "Blooming Cup" 5G Application Competition. He has participated in more than 20 research projects at national, provincial and municipal levels. He has compiled multiple monographs on ultrasound medicine, serving as Chief Editor of Analysis of Difficult and Complex Cases in Obstetric and Gynecological Ultrasound and Associate Editor of Modern Imaging Diagnostics in Ultrasound, among others.
