Chenglu Qin, Ph.D. and Master’s Supervisor, serves as Vice President of Luohu Maternal and Child Health Hospital under Shenzhen Luohu Hospital Group, Academic Leader of the Third Gynecology Department of Shenzhen Luohu Hospital, and Director of the Specialty Center for Female Genital Tract Malformation and Adolescent Gynecology. She is also an inheritor of the Luohu Procedure.

Dr. Qin was a visiting scholar in Germany in 2010 and engaged in clinical obstetrics and gynecology as well as oncological research in the United States from 2012 to 2014. She graduated from Sun Yat-sen University of Medical Sciences in 1995 and has long been dedicated to clinical work in obstetrics and gynecology with rich practical experience. She is proficient in the diagnosis and treatment of common, frequently encountered, critical and severe obstetric and gynecological diseases. Her specialties cover the diagnosis and management of female genital tract malformations and pelvic floor disorders, and she is skilled in various open and endoscopic gynecological surgeries. She also excels in the management of high-risk pregnancy and various obstetric comorbidities and complications.

Dr. Qin has participated in several national key research programs, including Research and Product Development of Functional Dressings and Soft Tissue Repair Materials and Key Gene Screening and Mechanistic Study of Genital Tract Structural Abnormalities. She has published more than 20 papers in SCI-indexed and core academic journals.

Dr. Qin was awarded the Shenzhen Science and Technology Innovation Award in 2006, the Endoscopic Medical Science and Technology Award in 2010, the honorary title of Sixth Guangdong Outstanding Doctor in 2022, and the title of Outstanding Communist Party Member of Shenzhen in 2024.
