
Baoling Lai serves as Deputy Director of the Prenatal Diagnosis Center at Shenzhen Luohu People’s Hospital. She holds the positions of Standing Committee Member of the Obstetrics and Pediatrics Clinical Branch of the Chinese Association for Birth Health Science, Member of the Prenatal Diagnosis Branch of Guangdong Medical Association, Member of the Genetics Branch of Shenzhen Medical Association, and Young Committee Member of the Maternal–Fetal Medicine Branch of Shenzhen Medical Association.
Dr. Lai completed the seven-year combined bachelor’s and master’s program in clinical medicine at Sun Yat-sen University, obtaining her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in clinical medicine, and was awarded her Ph.D. by Southern Medical University. As a visiting scholar at Harvard University, she completed the International Education Program in Clinical Research Training at Harvard Medical School. Dr. Lai has long been engaged in clinical practice and research in obstetrics. Her research interests focus on the prediction and prevention of preeclampsia as well as prenatal diagnosis of genetic diseases. She has presided over 2 municipal research projects, 1 district-level project and 1 hospital-based clinical research project. She has published 2 SCI-indexed papers and 10 articles in Chinese core journals.
