Song Zhang, Ph.D., Chief Physician, currently serves as Director of the Department of Otorhinolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery. He completed his combined master’s and doctoral studies at Tongji Medical College, Huazhong University of Science and Technology. Upon graduation, Dr. Zhang worked for seven years in the Department of Otorhinolaryngology at Union Hospital affiliated to the university, and has now engaged in clinical practice in otorhinolaryngology for 25 years.

Dr. Zhang is proficient in the diagnosis and treatment of common and refractory diseases in otorhinolaryngology. His specialized expertise covers otologic microsurgery, endoscopic minimally invasive surgery for naso-orbital and naso-cranial lesions, various head and neck tumor surgeries, and surgical treatment for snoring and sleep apnea.

Dr. Zhang has presided over and participated in a number of research projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the Ministry of Education, as well as medical research programs of Guangdong Province and Shenzhen. He has published more than 20 professional academic papers, among which 5 are indexed in SCI international journals.
