Synthetic Biology recreates or creates biological systems, explores the mechanism and rules of life, and develops next-generation biological technologies through scientific design and engineering methodology. The faculty is featured with interdisciplinary teaching and based on state-of-the-art scientific and research platforms including major synthetic biology facilities and international talent pool. It is dedicated to becoming a place of scientific and cultural heritage, national talent training and reserve center in life sciences and interdisciplinary sciences, worldly renowned research center in synthetic biology and engineering biology, and a center of fruitful results.
