On the afternoon of November 11, a delegation led by Louis Phee, Vice President ofNanyang Technological University (NTU) in Singapore,visited Shenzhen University of Advanced Technology(SUAT), accompanied by Sun Guoying, Deputy District Mayor of Guangming District People's Government, and Chen Xiaoqing, Director of the Science and Technology Innovation Bureau. SUAT Party Secretary Zhu Dijian and Provost Zhao Wei attended the meeting.
Zhu Dijian welcomed the arrival of the NTU delegation,hoping for close cooperation in education, scientific research, innovation, and entrepreneurship to achieve mutual development; Phee highly praised SUAT's high-quality development and impressive achievements in a short time, noting the university's strong research strength and innovation capabilities, andexpressing anticipation for in-depth cooperation between the two sides.

In educational cooperation, the two sides focused ondiscussing the possibilities of future cooperation in 3+2 and 4+1 bachelor's-master's joint cultivation programs, aiming to provide more diverse learning and development opportunities for students from both universities;
In scientific research, the two sidesdiscussed cooperation between the SUAT Institute of Emerging Agricultural Technology and the Singapore Centre for Environmental Life Sciences Engineering, hoping to leverage the science and education resources of both universities to jointly enhance research strength in bio-agricultural technology.
In addition, Phee proposed the intention to build an innovation research institute and expressed hope to cooperate with Guangming District and SUAT to cultivate more innovative and entrepreneurial talents and promote more scientific research innovation achievements.
After the meeting, Phee invited SUAT for a return visit and further planning and discussions on future scientific research and education cooperation projects between the two sides. Yang Fan, Assistant to the President and Minister of Education Affairs at SUAT, and Qian Zhenfei, Deputy Director of the Admissions and Cooperation Office, jointly participated in the cooperation exchange.
